London Festival of Architecture 2010 and Ben Uri Gallery
Romania's contribution to London Festival of Architecture City Skills for Life opened Monday evening with Augustin Ioan's lecture Resisting Interpretations: The House of the People's Dead Duck

And Eugen Ciocan & Gabriela Massaci's 17min documentary essay that was a very funny self-deprecating look at the city of Bucharest. Fashion designer and artist Carmen Secareanu created an outdoor installation Welcoming Fields for the steps of the Institute as well as the centre of Golden Square in London's West End. .......................Golden Square...............................
The Italian Embassy's contribution:
And the Ben Uri Gallery new temporary space was opened by the Royal Academy's former director Sir Norman Rosenthal All photos, as always, copyright ANDREW LUCRE 2010
